Turkish Airlines is planning to expand its flight operations to Pakistan, beginning October 27, 2025. According to the sources, the airline will increase the number of weekly flights to Islamabad and Lahore.

Notably, Turkish Airlines will operate 14 flights from Istanbul to Lahore instead of 11 flights.

Meanwhile, the airline will also operate 14 flights from Istanbul to Islamabad instead of 10 flights. It is worth noting that Turkish Airlines will use Airbus A-300 for the flight operations from its country to Pakistan.

Earlier on July 7, 2025, a Turkish Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore due to a technical fault, causing panic among passengers.

The Istanbul-bound aircraft turned back shortly after takeoff when a fault was detected.

As per airport sources, after receiving prompt clearance, the pilot safely landed the aircraft back at Lahore Airport.

Following the landing, the aircraft was moved to the parking area, where engineers began a technical inspection.

As Turkish Airlines continues to grow its presence in Pakistan, passengers can expect more convenient travel options and enhanced services.
