Recently announced at the ongoing Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2024), one of the latest software updates for Apple's flagship products is watchOS 11.

Being the top-of-the-line watchOS update, watchOS 11 would bring a spate of new features once rolled out, with the most significant ones being a built-in Shazam widget.

The Shazam widget has long been available to be downloaded on almost all Apple Watch models from the Apple Watch App Store, as well as to be accessed via Siri. What remained in the limbo was its availability through the Smart Stack feature.

Slated to make watchOS 11, the Cupertino-based tech giant said it would offer a Shazam widget to Smart Stack in order to make it an on-the-go feature without ‌having to ask Siri‌ or download an external app.

Accessible by turning the Digital Crown, the Apple Watch Smart Stack will be improved on the upcoming watchOS 11. With a touch of enhancement, it will display widgets based on time, location, and other factors while supporting Live Activities to keep an eye on live sports games or a nearby ride right from the wrist.
