After a lot of rumours, Apple has finally confirmed that date of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026 event, which will be online at its headquarters in Cupertino, California.
The Cupertino-based tech giant said that developers and students will be invited to attend in person at Apple Park on the opening day. During the WWDC 2026 event, Apple will focus on “AI advancements” along with updates for platforms like iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, and new software and developer tools.
What to expect from WWDC 2026?
"As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting developers, WWDC will also provide unique access to Apple engineers and designers, and insight into new tools, frameworks, and features," said Apple.
"WWDC is one of the most exciting times for us at Apple because it’s a chance for our incredible global developer community to come together for an electrifying week that celebrates technology, innovation, and collaboration,” said Apple Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations. “We can’t wait to see many of you online and in person for what is sure to be one of our best WWDC events yet.”
Recently, Apple launched a slew of interative hardware updates, which include:
- MacBook Neo
- Chip bumps for the MacBook Pro lineup
- A new Studio Display XDR monitor
- New AirPods Max headphones
- A second-gen AirTag
How to watch Apple WWDC 2026?
Apple — in a blog post — said that the WWDC 2026 event will stream live from June 8 to 12 on the Apple Developer app, Apple’s website, and the Apple Developer YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, for China, the conference will be streamed on the Apple Developer Bilibili channel.
