In a development aimed at modernising Pakistan’s business sector, Zindigi, backed by JS Bank, has teamed up with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) to drive digital transformation, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The partnership was confirmed on Monday, covering 76 chambers and 155 trade associations under the FPCCI network. It aims to improve financial inclusion and accessibility for businesses across Pakistan, The News reported.
As part of the agreement, Zindigi will roll out its Raast-enabled, QR-based real-time payment system within FPCCI member institutions to allow secure and instant transactions nationwide.
Apart from payments, the JS Bank venture will also offer a range of financial services, including lending, financing, and investment options to fulfil the needs of entrepreneurs and trade bodies.
The partnership also integrates Chikoo, Zindigi’s SME-oriented platform, which helps small businesses digitise their operations, improve efficiency, and access larger markets.
With this initiative, both organisations are striving to boost the growth of SMEs, promote cashless transactions, and pave the way for a more digitised economy in the country.
