Alibaba, the world's top B2B e-commerce platform, has launched its online logistics services to help Pakistani exporters enhance their international trade processes.

Although Pakistan's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been gaining attractive opportunities thanks to the rapid growth of e-commerce globally, they still encounter challenges, particularly in logistics.

To address these issues, the retailing giant has partnered with leading international delivery companies like CPEX, aiming to facilitate Pakistani goods' exports to over 200 countries.

The service will cover almost every aspect of logistics, including packaging, warehousing and delivery, helping businesses save time and reduce costs.

Alibaba.com’s logistics services will provide detailed order tracking tools and customs advisory services. Specific features of Alibaba.com’s logistics services include:

Transparency and cost-effectiveness: Businesses receive upfront quotes for various services, allowing them to lower overall order costs.

Global digitalised smart logistics service: The AI-powered system supports 24/7 online order tracking and logistics management.

Enhanced order tracking: The intelligent system suggests optimal shipping routes, improving communication and efficiency.

Summer Gao, Head of Global Supply Chain at Alibaba.com, stated:“Online logistics services are essential for small and medium-sized enterprises in global trade… By leveraging advanced technologies… Alibaba.com helps support Pakistani SMEs in enhancing their competitiveness.”

Clush Industries happens to be an exemplary adopter of Alibaba. It produces garments and makes 100% of its export revenue from Alibaba.com since joining in 2024, reaching markets like the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK.
