Asus is set to launch the Zenfone 12 Ultra on February 6 as the company released a video teaser on X (formerly Twitter), offering a glimpse of the upcoming flagship’s front design, revealing cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI-powered) features.
Several reports suggested that the upcoming device will share core hardware with the ROG Phone 9 Pro, excluding the high-end gaming-centric features. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what to expect from this highly anticipated flagship device.

The recent teaser revealed that the Zenfone 12 Ultra might boast a centred punch-hole display. One of its standout features is AI-powered real-time call translation, which enhances communication across different languages. Additionally, a feature that sets this phone apart from many modern flagships is the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Leaks suggested the Zenfone 12 Ultra is likely to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device is also expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1080p LTPO AMOLED display with a 185 Hz refresh rate.
In addition, the upcoming handset is expected to house a colossal 5,800mAh battery with a 65W charging threshold to improve its charging capability and offer long-lasting performance.
