As part of a broader transition to go fully digital, Bykea, the renowned ride-hailing and delivery platform in Pakistan, has now started accepting cashless payments using a variety of mediums.

With a significant digital transformation in place, users can now pay for their rides through digital methods such as JazzCash, Easypaisa, and online bank transfers.

The massive transition has been executed to enhance customer experience with a safer and quicker payment solution.

Rafiq Malik, Bykea’s chief operating officer and co-founder, dubbed this move a “significant milestone” in modernising transportation in Pakistan.

The development not only caters to the growing preference for cashless transactions but also minimises the hassle of carrying cash and searching for change. As a result, Bykea's cashless payment options would reduce the associated risks.

The acceptance of cashless payment by Bykea comes in line with a nationwide push underway to make Pakistan a cashless society, where transparency and financial security are guaranteed, with digital services being more accessible.

Although card payments have not been introduced yet, Bykea seems to be gearing up to do so in the future.
