Google has announced the expansion of Google Gemini's in-depth research mode to 40 more languages.

Building on the feature's initial launch earlier this month, this move enables Google One AI premium plan users to access this AI-powered research assistant in a wider range of languages.

The Google Gemini's in-depth research mode works in a multi-step method. From creating a plan to finding relevant information, this tool guides users through the entire research process. It extracts knowledge from the gathered information and then generates a report.

This development comes following Google’s other AI-related updates released recently.

Google now allows Gemini Advanced subscribers to experiment with Gemini-Exp-1206, a new version available on the web.

Moreover, the company introduced Gemini 2.0 Flash, bringing native image and audio output. This model is twice as fast as the previously released Gemini 1.5 Pro version.

On the sidelines, Google DeepMind has recently unveiled Veo 2, an advanced AI video generation tool that can produce high-quality videos up to 4K resolution.
