JazzCash is determined to triple the number of women-led businesses and freelancers by the end of 2027, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
With this initiative, Pakistan’s leading fintech player recognises the vital role women play in driving economic growth and innovation.
“Currently, more than 100,000 women freelancers and women-led businesses rely on JazzCash for their financial services needs. The company aims to increase this number to 300,000 in the next three years,” JazzCash president, Murtaza Ali noted.
JazzCash serves more than 44 million customers. While the platform has doubled its female customer base to 30% in the past three years, it aims to increase this figure to 50% in the coming years.

JazzCash is also committed to promoting economic resilience among women through hassle-free loans. It issues 118,000 digital loans on a daily basis, with 25% going to women.
“These hassle-free loans empower women by enabling them to navigate economic challenges, reduce social risks, and support their small and medium-sized businesses, Ali added.
However, the platform's efforts extend beyond financial services, partnering with women-led enterprises and social protection initiatives to reduce poverty and raise living standards for women.
“We provide programmes designed to help rural women independently manage their accounts through accessible mobile platforms and we are committed to nurturing a thriving ecosystem for women in business through JazzCash,” Ali concluded.
Recently, JazzCash has also collaborated with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to channel cash payments of Rs78 billion to 1.3 million BISP-registered women beneficiaries across Pakistan by the end of next year.
