Meezan Bank has strengthened Pakistan’s Islamic banking sector after winning the ‘Best Bank of the Year – Large Size Banks’ award at the 22nd Annual Excellence Awards by CFA Society Pakistan on Monday.
This industry award, known for recognising financial excellence in Pakistan, has recognised the bank’s strong performance and trusted service.
The recognition was the sixth in a row from the CFA Society Pakistan for excellent performance in various aspects by Meezan Bank. Among the major local and conventional banks, the bank has established itself as one of the leaders in Shariah-compliant banking services.
Meezan Bank was also named “Best Islamic Bank of the Year”, completing 15 years of consistent recognition for its role in setting high standards in Islamic finance.
The award was given by State Bank of Pakistan Governor Jameel Ahmad, who joined as the chief guest to Meezan Bank Founder, President and CEO Irfan Siddiqui, and Meezan Bank Deputy CEO Dr Syed Amir Ali.
The event highlighted the bank's performance relating to reliability, innovation, and customer-centric services.
