When it comes to generative artificial intelligence-backed photo or video generators, there is literally a treasure trove of them, but only a few stand out by offering features like the one being released for Meta AI, the Facebook parent's proprietary AI assistant nestled inside across its social media platforms.
The new video editing feature in the Meta AI can now be accessed from the Meta AI app, the Meta.AI website, and the Edits app.
Unlike every other AI tool, this innovative tool allows users to fine-tune short-form videos using predefined AI prompts, enabling transformations of elements such as outfits, locations, and lighting with just a tap.
Meta AI's new video editing capability is inspired by Meta’s Movie Gen models, a significant step in expanding AI-driven video generation across Meta platforms, according to ProPakistani.
It was also reported that by later this year, users will be able to customise edits using their own text prompts.
Designed with ease of access in mind, Meta AI’s video editing feature allows AI freaks to do high-quality editing without prior experience. All they need to do is simply upload videos to the Meta AI app, Meta.AI web, or Edits app and choose from over 50 preset editing prompts.
It's noteworthy that users can try 10-second transformations at no cost for a limited time.
Whether it's about turning the footage into graphic novel-style animations or adjusting lighting to apply an imaginary effect, the video editing feature on Meta AI is purportedly bringing artistic clips which can be directly shared on Facebook and Instagram or posted to the Discover feed via the Meta.AI website.
