Meta Quest update enhances Netflix streaming in VR

Meta unveiled an upgrade for the Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets. The company added small betterments for regular users.

The users can avail a new and enhanced way to see Netflix content. After the update, the users can watch Netflix directly from the built-in browser.

Moreover, it provides an enhanced experience to users while enjoying the Netflix content in high resolution. The web app also provides the option between a flat 2D virtual screen and a simulated view.

Meta released a specific travel mode earlier. However, the upgrade brings it globally. This is a model particularly for air travel, as it tunes the headset’s algorithms to set for aeroplane pushing. The Headset automatically link with in-flight Wi-Fi and is available to play anything built on the device.

Moreover, movies and TV shows are available by the airline. Meta partnerships with Lufthansa to provide Quest 3 headsets to people on select business-class flights. In addition, Meta unveiled another teaser for the Quest 3 exclusive Batman: Arkham Shadow to be released on June 7 as part of Summer Game Fest.
