Truecaller and Microsoft on Wednesday announced decision to collaborate in order to revolutionise the people manage their calls. This exciting partnership brings the power of Microsoft's Azure AI Speech to Truecaller's AI Assistant, introducing a groundbreaking feature: Personal Voice.

Personal Voice allows you to create a digital replica of your own voice for the AI Assistant. Whenever you receive a call, the Assistant will now screen it using your unique voice, offering a familiar and natural experience for the caller. This eliminated the previous reliance on generic voices, which could sometimes surprise or confuse the person calling you.

"With the addition of Microsoft's Personal Voice, users of the Truecaller Assistant can now create a completely digital version of their own voice to use inside the Assistant," said Truecaller in a recent announcement. This collaboration signifies a significant leap in AI-powered communication, offering a more personalized and user-friendly way to manage your calls.

The feature is currently rolling out to Truecaller Premium users in a select few countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, South Africa, India, Sweden, and Chile. Truecaller assures users that Personal Voice will be expanding to additional regions soon, bringing the power of your own voice to a wider audience.

This partnership between Truecaller and Microsoft paves the way for a future of more natural and intuitive communication with AI Assistants. With Personal Voice, Truecaller empowers users to take control of their call experience, adding a touch of personalization that goes beyond generic voices.
