Honor has revealed a range of new products at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona. The Chinese manufacturer revealed the Honor Magic 6 Series and Honor Magic V2 ahead of the event.
Additionally, the company unveiled a new laptop and a tablet at the MWC 2024 event. The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 and the Honor Pad 9 were both showcased on Sunday.
Honor MagicBook Pro 16 specifications
Honor MagicBook Pro 16 running Windows 11 out-of-the-box, the device is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 155H, featuring six performance cores, eight efficient cores, and two low-power efficient cores. The laptop's 16-inch display offers a resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels, 100% DCI-P3, and 100% sRGB wide colour gamut support, with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz.
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 is equipped with a GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPU and includes AI features such as Smart Picture Search, Smart Document Summary, Text Comprehension, AI Subtitle, and Magic Text.
It is featuring six speakers, including four woofers and two tweeters, Honor claims that it is the world's first spatial audio laptop on a Windows-based PC. The laptop houses a 75Wh battery and promises up to 12 hours of battery life.
Honor Pad 9 specifications
Honor Pad 9 runs on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It sports a 12.1-inch LCD with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The tablet features a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the tablet includes an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and a gravity sensor.
The Honor Pad 9 is equipped with an 8,300mAh battery and features dual microphones and 8 speakers. Measuring 278.27 x 180.11 x 6.9mm and weighing approximately 555g, it offers a compact and lightweight design.
Honor MagicBook Pro 16, Honor Pad 9 price
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 comes in White and Purple variants. Although pricing details for the laptop are yet to be disclosed, Honor has stated that it will initially be launched in the Chinese market, with a global release expected in the second quarter of 2024.
As per Gadgets360, the Honor Pad 9 is priced at GBP 299.99 (approximately INR 31,499) in the UK for the single 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage variant. With the keyboard attachment, the tablet costs GBP 349.99 (approximately INR 36,748). Available in Cyan Lake and Space Gray colours, the Honor Pad 9 is currently on sale in China, select European regions, and Saudi Arabia via the Honor website.
