The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Wednesday announced that Pakistanis can now apply for an ID card from the Pak-ID mobile app and NADRA office, select the "Home Delivery" option and get the ID card delivered to their home.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the authority stated: "If the identity card can be delivered right to your home, why bother visiting the NADRA office? Save valuable time, order your ID card at home."

Now, you don't have to take the tension of going to the nearest Nadra centre to receive your Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), as the authority will deliver it to your home.

Earlier on Monday, Nadra announced that If you have lost your ID card or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), don't worry, you can reapply for a reprint of your CNIC/NICOP.

"If you have lost your ID card or NICOP, don't worry! Be it a NAICOP or a CNIC, in case of loss, recreate it at home with the PakID mobile app," said the authority.

Gadinsider has a guide, which will walk you through the process of reapplying for your CNIC/NICOP in just a few steps.
