The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has officially announced the closure of all its offices and service centres across Pakistan on Saturday, in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

According to the official notification, offices operating late-night shifts today will also suspend services at midnight, and will resume operations from 8am on September 7.

NADRA suggested that citizens plan their visits accordingly and encouraged the use of its Pak-ID mobile app and website for ID-related services such as Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs), Child Registration Certificate (CRC), B-Form, and Family Registration Certificate (FRC) during the holiday.

It is worth noting that NADRA’s helpline (1777 for mobile users, 051-111786100 for landline) will remain available to assist citizens.

NADRA officials stated that this step is part of the government’s nationwide public holiday, but the notification was released early to prevent inconvenience for those planning visits to its centres.
