In an occurrence of exceptional offerings from Google, the search engine giant has listed its Pixel 8 Pro on a massively low price tag exclusively for new Google Fi subscribers, offering the Pixel 8 Pro for $199 after monthly bill credits.

Specified by the company, New Google Fi subscribers are those whose last day of Fi service took place more than 180 days before making a purchase with this promotion.”

The discount offer on Pixel 8 Pro resembles the one Google Fi offered at the smartphone's launch in October, where new subscribers availed $700 off the Pixel 8 Pro.

These Google Fi users will be given $800 worth of bill credits over the period of two years, which will cover a variety of Google Fi services every month including “data, calls, texts and device financing.”

How to get Google Pixel 8 Pro on discount

Users willing to avail the offer are required to buy Google Fi's Unlimited Plus plan which costs $65 for one line and $110 for two lines. Moreover, Google recently reduced the duration of offering free YouTube Premium, alongside the Unlimited Plus bundle, from one year to six months.

Other things to pay heed to are as following:

  • “If purchased with device financing, the device payments will be discounted via 24 monthly credits equaling $800 in total value.”
  • “If purchased without device financing, the full device price will be due at time of purchase and you will receive $800 back via 24 monthly credits.”
  • “If you cancel service at any time before the 24 months, you will forfeit all remaining monthly credits.”

“You must keep the device active until you receive a confirmation email notifying you that you’ve activated service on Fi, and that you’ll be getting monthly bill credits. After that, you can choose to move your Fi account to a different device and still continue to receive the promotional credit as long as your Fi account is kept active for the duration of the 24 month promotional term.”

Validity of Google Fi discount offer on Pixel 8 Pro

The offer adjoins Google Fi's spring deals valid until March 29. Moreover, the company isn't leaving existing Google Fi subscribers in the cold, as they too can get $400 off the Pixel 8 Pro, an offer which has been active since the phone's launch.
