While Nokia has been off the grid for nearly two decades since it captured a considerable portion of the mobile phone and gaming spheres, the tech giant has once again stepped into the limelight with the integration of Parasite Pack into its N-Gage console.
Developed by LowtekGames, the Parasite Pack includes Flea!, Flea! 2, and Tapeworm Disco Puzzle. All of these titles have been around other consoles before their debut on Nokia's classic handheld gaming hardware.
Android Police reported that these games have been reworked to be compatible with N-Gage's unique display. What simplifies their installation on the Nokia gaming consoles is that they come with a proper box, instruction booklet, and cartridge.
On the customisation end, aside from games, N-Gage users can also download wallpapers and ringtones to complement the user interface of the device.
Courtesy of digital download codes, the cherry on top is the ability to play games available on other consoles.
Although many point at startling similarities between N-Gage and numerous old retro consoles like the Nintendo NES or Game Boy, Nokia's N-Gage bears its own set of distinct properties.
