OpenAI has kicked off its “12 days of shipmas” with the release of the full version of its ChatGPT o1 model replacing the o1-preview, initially introduced as a limited preview in September.
Utilising advanced technologies, the o1 reasoning model excels in complex problem-solving and is an ideal tool for tackling coding projects, advanced scientific research, and detailed analysis.
The full version of the model provides deeper insights and contextually nuanced responses and aims to reduce errors by 34% compared to its predecessors.

This new model is currently available for ChatGPT Plus and Team users, while Enterprise and Edu users will be granted access next week.

Alongside the o1 reasoning model, the company has also introduced ChatGPT Pro. Priced at $200 per month, ChatGPT Pro caters to power users in fields like programming, content creation, and education, who demand top-tier performance and features to optimise their workflows.
The subscription tier also includes unlimited access to OpenAI o1, GPT-4o, and Advanced Voice mode.
