OpenAI's ChatGPT app for Mac now available for all users alike

With availability of ChatGPT extended to all Mac users, the need to subscribe to a paid ChatGPT plan is subsided

Everyone nowadays knows about the trend-setter, kickstarter of the artificial intelligence (AI) race which the digital landscape is mostly occupied in. We're referring to the great ChatGPT, a generative AI (GenAI) tool originally developed by OpenAI in 2018, and marked the beginning of the series of more advanced language models that have since been brought to life by OpenAI.

ChatGPT's availability is too vast, spanning almost every country and region as far as the geographical presence is concerned. However, when it comes to operating systems of the most popular gadgets having access to ChatGPT, the reach is not too wide, sadly.

As there exists a plethora of operating systems that are left behind in discovering and exploiting the capabilities of the ultimate AI tool, Mac stands out among them, as it belongs to the tech giant Apple.

But that is about to change, as, to the delight of Mac users, OpenAI has made ChatGPT available for Mac today. ChatGPT app was initially launched for Mac in the middle of last month but underwent a sluggish rollout which was limited to ChatGPT Plus subscribers.

After expanding its access to one of Apple's most renowned flagship devices, OpenAI said the ChatGPT app for Mac is aimed at simplifying access to the tool as well as enquiring about emails, screenshots, websites and different sorts of content available on the Mac.

Voice Mode on ChatGPT for Mac

Moreover, Voice Mode, a search feature, is embedded into it for voice conversations with ChatGPT, allowing Mac users to rummage through past conversations and much more.

With the availability of ChatGPT extended to all Mac users, the need to subscribe to a paid ChatGPT plan has subsided.
