
Oppo has released the first teaser of its upcoming foldable phone, the Oppo Find N5, hinting at a thin design and titanium build.
The Oppo Find N5 is expected to be released globally as a successor to the Find N3. However, in markets such as Europe, India, and the US, it might come rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2.
World’s thinnest foldable phone
According to Oppo Chief Product Officer Pete Lau, the Oppo Find N5 will be the world's thinnest foldable phone, with a thickness comparable to a pencil (around 7mm) when unfolded.
The teaser suggested that the Find N5’s unfolded state will be approximately 4mm thick, while the folded state will be under 10mm.
Additionally, it was suggested that the Oppo Find N5 might feature an IPX8 rating, a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the Find N3.
Oppo has also used titanium in the phone's build which indicates improved durability.

According to earlier speculations, the Oppo Find N5 will boast a large 6,000mAh battery, supporting 80W or 100W fast charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the device is expected to run on ColorOS 15-based Android 15.
The Oppo Find N5’s rear camera module is rumoured to feature a thinner design, comprising a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support.

The Oppo Find N5 is expected to launch in China in February, alongside the Oppo Watch X3 series of smartwatches.
