As the much-awaited launch of Apple's upcoming iPhone lineup— the iPhone 16 series — nears with each passing day, Apple enthusiasts are eagerly seeking insights into what the upcoming iPhone lineup has for them.

Much to the delight of such individuals, a spate of rumours around iPhone 16 models have been surfacing, providing a sneak peek into what may actually be featured on these high-end smartphones.

A look at what @MajunBuOfficial (a prolific tipster named Majun Bu) has disclosed on X and you'll get the best idea of that. The tipster claims that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a larger display than its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, as reported by Gadgets360.

iPhone 16 specifications

Citing images of a dummy unit, the tipster also suggests that all the models of this year's iPhone series will equally arrive with a dedicated 'Capture' button.

Considering the three images the tipster leaked of the supposed iPhone 16 Pro Max, the high-end variant of the series is expected to come out with a 6.9-inch display, indicating an increase of 0.2mm in the device length compared to its predecessor.

While promising a slightly bigger display, the dummy does not reflect on bezels, nor does it showcase the possibility of higher resolution with the upgraded display.

Rear camera module is also tipped to be a little bigger than the one offered on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

While leaks are hinting at a dedicated Capture button, the presently-featured Action button on the iPhone 15 Pro Max might also make its way to the its successor impending to release later this year.

Since Apple's has always opted for the same timeframe (which is September) it usually follows for iPhone release, leaks emerging on the internet are too hinting at the same release schedule.
