Pak-US Tech Investment Conference attracts $20m American investment

The Pakistan-US Tech Investment conference successfully concluded at Stanford University.

To the delight of the country's booming IT sector, the conference came to its end with a commitment of over $20 million from American companies, most of them stemming from Pakistani-American entrepreneurs.

Virtually attending the conference to present NSIT City, CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin brought to light the immense investment opportunities which Pakistan’s persistently expanding IT sector offers.

Foreign investment for Pakistan's IT sector

The tech conference was organised by the Pakistani Consulate in Los Angeles in collaboration with the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Ministry of Commerce, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), appealing American investors from a range of industries alongside Pakistani American entrepreneurs and tech professionals.

The key points highlighted the most during the conference, backed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and Consul General Asim Ali Khan, include the innovative edge and developmental prowess which Pakistan possesses to stand out in the global IT landscape.

NSIT City was designed to serve as a hub for technological innovation, featuring state-of-the-art facilities and streamlined policies to attract global investment.
