In what might be a major step in Samsung’s plans to launch its flagships, the much-anticipated Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event on May 13 2025.
Citing a fresh leak from Korean outlet Financial News, Android Police reported that the Galaxy S25 Edge's launch was first teased during the Galaxy S25 series launch earlier this year,
Since then, the handset has been gaining attention at well-known events like MWC 2025, but Samsung has still remained tight-lipped about its launch date.
The newly surfaced report suggested the Galaxy S25 Edge will first go on sale in China and South Korea on May 23, followed by other markets, including the United States, on May 30.
This ultra-slim handset is set to carve out a niche between the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra, with a starting price of 1.5 million won (around $1,050 USD) for the 256GB model.
Endorsed to be Samsung’s thinnest phone ever, measuring just 5.8mm, the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a dual-camera system and be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, just like its S25 siblings.
As the race to develop ultra-thin smartphones heats up between the world's top smartphone makers, especially with Apple’s iPhone 17 Air on the horizon, all eyes are now on Samsung.
