Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch the Galaxy XCover 8 Pro smartphone soon, as a successor to the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, after the launch of Galaxy XCover 7 earlier this year, along with the rugged tablet, Galaxy Tab Active 6 Pro tab.

The specifications of both the upcoming Samsung devices are still under wraps, however, they are likely to be unveiled next year in the mid of 2025.

Galaxy XCover 8 Pro

According to GalaxyClub, the South Korean tech giant is currently testing a phone along with a model number SM-G766B, which is similar to the naming pattern of Galaxy XCover Pro's previous mobiles, hinting towards the imminent launch of Galaxy XCover 8 Pro.

The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro was associated with a model number SM-G736B, while the Galaxy XCover 7 had a model number SM-G556B.

In reference, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 features an IP68-certified build and military-grade, equipped with a 4,050mAh battery, a 50MP camera, houses a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 chipset, 5G connectivity, and more.

Galaxy Tab Active 6 Pro

The rumoured rugged Galaxy Tab Active 6 Pro tablet is likely to be launched with the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro moniker or the Galaxy Tab Active 6 Pro moniker, it will allegedly come as a successor to the Galaxy Tab Active 5, which was unveiled, coinciding with the Galaxy XCover 7 in the beginning of the year.

Furthermore, Galaxy Tab Active 6 Pro is expected to provide improved durability, enhnaced screen technology, rugged battery with swappable options, and more.
