
Samsung Galaxy XCover 7, a rugged phone featuring a removable battery, was recently introduced in global markets last month. Meanwhile, the South Korean tech giant launched Galaxy Xcover 7 in India on Tuesday (February 6).
The handset comes in both Standard Edition and Enterprise Edition variants in the Indian market, boasting an IP68-certified build and military-grade (MIL-STD-810H) durability. Sporting a single 50-megapixel rear camera and powered by a 4,050mAh battery, the Galaxy XCover 7 is highlighted as Samsung's first-ever enterprise-focused smartphone in India.

The Standard Edition of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 is priced at INR 27,208, while the Enterprise Edition is priced slightly higher at INR 27,530. Both editions are available in a single configuration offering 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, according to Gadgets360.
The Standard Edition comes with a one-year warranty, whereas the Enterprise Edition offers an extended two-year warranty. Corporate and institutional customers have the option to purchase the device through Samsung’s official website and the online EPP portal. Additionally, Samsung is bundling a 12-month Knox Suite subscription with the Galaxy XCover 7 Enterprise Edition.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 runs on Android 14 and features a 6.6-inch full-HD TFT display with a water drop-style notch housing the selfie camera. The device boasts Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and is powered by an octa-core 6nm processor paired with 6GB of RAM.
Although the chipset model remains undisclosed, it's speculated to be a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 SoC. It also supports dual SIM options. Storage-wise, there's 128GB of onboard storage expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C port with Pogo pin, and various satellite positioning systems. The device also includes a range of sensors and features such as face recognition and an XCover Key for customisable tasks.
Additionally, it comes with MIL-STD-810H certification for drop protection, an IP68-rated build for dust and water resistance, and a replaceable 4,050mAh battery. The handset measures 169.0 x 80.1 x 10.2mm and weighs approximately 240 grams.
