The Redmi A3 is expected to launch soon as the successor to the Remdi A2. Positioned as a budget-friendly option, similar to its predecessors, it is speculated to be the most affordable among the Redmi models. 

Moreover, the Redmi A3 is rumoured to come with significant upgrades compared to older models. Previously, the handset has been spotted on several certification sites and select retail outlets, along with leaked images of the retail box, suggesting an imminent launch.

Gadgets360, citing GSMArena, leaked images of the Redmi A3 retail box reveal key specifications. The phone is depicted with a larger 6.71-inch display, a notable increase from the 6.52-inch panel found on the Redmi A2.

Additionally, the display is rumoured to offer a 90Hz refresh rate. With these leaks surfacing and the model already appearing in African retail outlets, its launch appears imminent.

The Redmi A3 is expected to feature a larger camera module, evident from leaked images showcasing a black colour variant with a centrally placed circular camera module on the back panel. This module is speculated to house a dual rear camera system alongside an LED flash.

Previous reports suggest that the Redmi A3 will be offered in black, blue, and forest green colour variants. The device is anticipated to feature a centrally positioned waterdrop notch at the top of the display to accommodate the front camera. The handset is likely to support dual SIM connectivity and run Android 13 out of the box. Additionally, it may offer an HD+ resolution with a 120Hz touch sampling rate and 400 nits of peak brightness.

Internally, the Redmi A3 is rumoured to be powered by a MediaTek chipset paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with support for up to 8GB VRAM. Storage-wise, it is expected to feature eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. 

Specifications from the leaked retail box indicate that the Redmi A3 will boast 128GB of onboard storage paired with 4GB of RAM, a notable improvement over the storage options available for the Redmi A2. Recent online sightings also depicted the model with 64GB of internal storage.

Redmi A3 camera features 

The dual rear camera setup may comprise a 13-megapixel primary sensor and an AI-backed secondary camera. For selfies, an 8-megapixel front camera is anticipated. The device may pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging.
