The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced to celebrate Women Entrepreneurship Day (WED) on November 19.

The decision was made in an effort to praise women entrepreneurs and their significant contributions to boosting the deteriorating economy.

The development also marks a praiseworthy step towards acknowledging women in general standing head-to-head with men in a male-dominated society.
