UAE announces multi-entry visa for relatives, friends

In a remarkable development, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced a new multi-entry visit visa for friends and relatives.

As per the new UAE visa policies, foreigners can stay in the country for 30, 60, or 90 days, eliminating the requirement for a local sponsor or guarantor. 

This move is expected to simplify the process for Pakistanis who often face challenges while reconnecting with family or friends in this Middle-East country. 

UAE’s multi-entry visa

To apply for this visa, individuals will need to provide documentation proving their relationship with relatives, such as parents, siblings, children, or spouses, through marriage or birth certificates.

Similarly, friends can also apply; however, they must provide valid reasons for their visit.

UAE multi-entry visa eligibility criteria

  • A valid passport with at least six months validity
  • Two recent photographs
  • Supporting financial documents
  • Salary certificate or employment contract for salaried individuals
  • Partnership contract or business license for business owners or partners

UAE multi-entry visa fees

The UAE visa fees are structured as follows:

  • 30-day visa: AED 300 (approximately Rs22,755).
  • 60-day visa: AED 500 (approximately Rs37,925).
  • 90-day visa: AED 700 (approximately Rs53,095).
  • Refundable financial security deposit: AED 2,000 (Rs151,700)
  • Medical insurance: AED 40 to AED 90 (Rs3,034 to Rs6,825)

How to apply for the UAE multi-entry visa?

Applicants can submit their visa applications through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai's (GDRFA) website, mobile application, or customer service centres.
