July 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for smartphone enthusiasts, with several major brands set to launch their latest devices. 

From flagship foldables to budget-friendly powerhouses, companies like Samsung, OnePlus, OPPO, vivo, Nothing, Realme, and Motorola are all ready to announce new models.

Here's a look at the top upcoming smartphones in July 2025 and what to expect from each.

Nothing Phone (3)

The Nothing Phone (3) was announced and confirmed for a July 1, 2025, release and is already starting to create anticipation. This one will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the Glyph Interface.

The Nothing Phone (3) claims to have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 under the hood and will offer up to 12GB RAM and 256 GB of storage, a dual 50 MP rear camera driven by a 4,700mAh battery with fast charging, and will run Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15. Nothing OS aims to provide a minimalistic experience while continuing to use less visual noise.

OPPO Reno 14 series

OPPO Reno 14 Series is expected to feature AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, 50MP front and rear cameras, and 6,000mAh batteries. The Reno 14 Pro variant is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, the base Reno 14 will use the Dimensity 8350, while the Reno 14F is rumoured to use a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1.

Other highlights include wireless charging, an IP69 rating, and a stylish design aimed at the mid-range market.

The OPPO Reno 14 series is officially scheduled to launch on July 3, 2025.

OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5

Expected to launch on July 8, 2025, the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 are generating buzz ahead of release. The Nord CE 5 is rumored to feature a 6.77-inch 120Hz OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, up to 8GB RAM, and a 7,100mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

It may sport a 50MP + 8MP dual rear camera and 16MP selfie shooter, with an IP65 rating and new colours like Dry Ice and Phantom Grey. Meanwhile, the Nord 5 is expected to resemble the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, with a clean design, circular camera layout, and a glass back panel.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 FE

Samsung is expected to unveil its next-gen foldables at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on July 9, 2025. While official specs are yet to be confirmed, leaks suggest the Z Flip 7 may feature a larger cover display and Flex Mode enhancements.

The Z Fold 7 is rumoured to have a thinner design, an improved under-display camera, and better multitasking. A more budget-friendly Z Flip 7 FE could debut as well, possibly with toned-down specs.

Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE

Vivo has confirmed that the X Fold5 and X200 FE are launching in India this month, likely together. The vivo X Fold5 is expected to feature a large 8.03-inch 2K+ AMOLED inner display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16 GB RAM, and a triple 50 MP ZEISS camera setup with OIS and a periscope lens.

It is also expected to offer a sleek, foldable design, weighing just 217 g. The X200 FE, already confirmed, is expected to feature a Dimensity 8300 chip and a 120Hz AMOLED display. Both phones are likely to run Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.

Vivo X Fold 5 and Vivo X200 FE are rumoured to launch in mid-July 2025.

Realme 15 Series

The Realme 15 series is also rumoured to launch later in July 2025, but Realme hasn’t officially confirmed the models or specs. Early leaks suggest the lineup might include Realme 15 and 15 Pro with AMOLED displays, updated chipsets, and 67W fast charging. We expect the phones to run Realme UI 6 based on Android 15.

Moto G96 and Moto G86 Power

Motorola may introduce Moto G96 and G86 Power in mid-July 2025, although official details are still under wraps. The G96 is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip and 50MP camera, while the G86 Power could boast a large 6,000mAh battery. These would target the budget- and battery-conscious segments.
