What's generally desired on the web version of the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform seems to be on the verge of being available, as the platform is about to incorporate support for mouse and keyboard to control gameplays.
The gaming company is probably working for the feature mentioned above for the prolonged absence of mouse and keyboard support on the web version of the Xbox Cloud Gaming. Currently, as reported by 9to5Google, the feature has been spotted on open beta version of the gaming platform.
Gamers prone to play Xbox Game Pass titles from the cloud are most likely to avail this capability using the native Xbox app, which entails the entire title catalogue Xbox has released through the cloud and which is compatible with common hardware.

However — until mouse and keyboard support is not rolled out on the stable web version of Xbox Cloud Gaming platform — the unfortunate is for those who opt to play cloud games using web browsers like Google, as controlling these games through mouse and keyboard is not yet in the grasp of PCs.
The announcement was made yesterday, with the company assuring aficionados about the support for mouse and keyboard input on browsers for certain games in the cloud.
As of now, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge appear to be the only supported browsers. Meanwhile, on Xbox’s cloud site, users will be able to play from PC or Chromebook using a browser, if they choose to do so.
It should be noted that while the feature is available for select users, it needs to be enabled. The company says that users can click their profile photo from the cloud site and enable “Preview features” in the settings. On the website, games with mouse and keyboard support will stand out.
