The Lexus RZ lineup is set to be expanded for the 2025 model year, which results in the Japanese luxury brand's sole electric vehicle becoming majorly more affordable. Lexus is including a new base model for the front-wheel-drive RZ300e and all-wheel-drive RZ450e and has planned to reduce prices.

The new front-wheel-drive variant at the bottom of the lineup drops to just $43,975 for 2025. Earlier, the RZ300e and RZ450e had been available in either the Premium or Luxury trim.

Currently, Lexus will also sell both models with an unnamed entry-level variant. While the 2024 RZ300e Premium began at $55,150, the new base model means the most affordable 2025 RZ model will cost $11,175 less than the previous year.

With the addition of the new base model, the 2025 RZ300e Premium also gets a major price cut to $48,175, a nearly $7K difference from the 2024 version. The 2025 RZ300e Luxury received an identical price reduction compared with last year, now beginning at $53,905.

On the other hand, the new RZ450e base model is set to begin at $48,675, which is also $11,175 less than the most affordable all-wheel-drive RZ cost in 2024.

The same $6975 price cuts also apply to the 2025 RZ450e Premium — starting at $52,875 — and the 2025 RZ450e Luxury — starting at $58,605.

Lexus said that the 2025 RZ, which is developed in the city of Toyota, Japan, will go on sale in the United States later this year.
