Hyundai on Monday launched its most awaited flagship SUV, Palisade, in Pakistan to direct compete with the GWM Tank 500 HEV, which is currently priced at Rs2.05 crore.
The company, during the launch event, said the locally assembled Palisade comes with a 2.5-litre Turbo Hybrid setup producing 329 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque, which places it firmly in the “big SUV with serious shove” category.
The flagship Palisade SUV is available in two variants, including:
- Palisade Smart (lower-trim)
- Palisade Calligraphy (top-trim)

The Palisade Smart (lower-trim) — comes with eight seater capacity — is priced at Rs20,999,000 (2.1 Crore), and Pakistanis can easily book their SUV with payment of Rs3,000,000 (30 Lakhs), while the Palisade Calligraphy (top-trim) — comes with seven seater capacity — costs Rs22,999,000 (2.3 Crore), and citizens can book the flagship SUV with payment of Rs3,300,000 (33 Lakhs).

- Power-adjustable seats across all three rows

- Self-damping suspension that adjusts based on load
Pakistan is the first country outside South Korea to locally assemble the Palisade SUV, which is a major milestone for country's automotive industry.
