Crown Electric Mobility has officially launched its new electric bike, named 'Crown Electric X200', aimed at urban commuters in Pakistan. 

The comapny said that the X200 appears to be positioned as a practical commuter bike focused on everyday city use rather than outright performance. As Pakistan is seeing a rising fuel prices, many commuters are now looking for electric vehicles (EVs).

The price of the Crown Electric X200 is Rs289,900 in Pakistan, which is currently available in black and red. The company claimed that the X200 uses a multi-mode motor setup, in which the same motor delivers different levels of output depending on riding mode and throttle input. It operates at around 2000W during standard riding for better efficiency, while higher output is available when extra acceleration is needed.

While that places it above many entry-level petrol bikes in terms of upfront cost, lower day-to-day running expenses may make it a relevant option for users looking to reduce fuel spending over time.
