GAC is reportedly gearing up to enter the Pakistani automotive market with the launch of some electric vehicles (EVs), in line with the rising demand nationwide after the prices of petroleum products increased.

Lucky Motor Corporation's partnership with GAC covers the AION and HYPTEC brands for Pakistan, while official launch plans, product details, and dealership information are still expected in the coming weeks.

What to expect from GAC Pakistan?

On its Instagram account, GAC Pakistan has already begun carrying teaser copy such as “Something powerful is on the horizon” and “With innovation, and a presence that speaks for itself, a new force is getting ready to arrive.”

Based on the two teaser links shared by the company, the vehicles appear to be an electric SUV and an electric sedan.

GAC International President & Vice President of the Asia-Pacific Regional Center, Wang Shunsheng stated: "GAC's exclusive partnership with Lucky Group is a result of natural affinity between GAC and LMC with shared value of offering quality products with state-of-the-art technology.

"We have strong confidence in Lucky Motor Corporation's capabilities, their local expertise, and their long-term vision. Pakistan is an important growth market, and through this partnership we are committed to expanding rapidly, introducing NEVs with advanced technologies, and delivering exceptional value to customers," added Shunsheng.

As per hints, the sedan naming is worth watching, as GAC has used different badges across markets, and the Pakistan car could still be introduced under a slightly different AION S-family name. For now, though, AION V and AION ES are the safest working references based on the hints.
