Omoda Pakistan is reportedly gearing up to launch its new Omoda O7 PHEV later this year, which will give you a drive on electric power for shorter commutes and use its petrol engine for longer trips.

As per PakWheels report, the unit shown at the Beijing Auto Show comes with several premium features, including a sliding infotainment screen that can move across the dashboard. The SUV also gets a Sony sound system, wireless charger, panoramic roof, and Alcantara-style interior trim.

Omoda O7 features

Omoda O7 PHEV comes with an 18.3 kWh battery pack, the same size as the Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV. The company claims around 100 km of pure electric range, while the combined petrol and electric range is 1000+ km on a full tank and full charge.

In Pakistan, due to the continuous increase in the petrol prices, citizens are now looking for plug-in hybrids, full electric vehicles (EVs) options to reduce their tension over the rising petrol prices in Pakistan.

Most likely, when the Omoda O7 launches in Pakistan, the feature list will remain largely unchanged. This is because when Omoda and Jaecoo launched the Jaecoo J7 and J5 in Pakistan, the company did not strip key features to cut costs. Both models arrived with equipment levels close to those of their international top-spec variants, and we expect the same for the Omoda O7.
