After a long wait, Suzuki has officially announced the launch date of its crossover SUV, the Fronx, in the Pakistani automotive market.
Suzuki Pakistan initially unveiled the Fronx at the PAPS 2025 event, confirming that the Fronx’s launch is official. At the time, the company said the car would launch in 2026. It's a sub-compact crossover SUV that Suzuki Pakistan calls, in its jargon, and XUV.
Suzuki Fronx launch date
Suzuki confirmed that the Fronx will launch on May 6, 2026 in Pakistan, which is just two weeks from now. The crossover SUV uses a 1.5-liter engine that produces about 104 hp and 126 Nm of torque. In Pakistan, it’ll come in two powertrains:
- Hybrid
- Non-hybrid
However, internationally, this SUV is available in multiple Asian and Oceania countries, some of which are:
- India
- Indonesia
- Japan
- Philippines
- Thailand
- Malaysia
- Australia
- UAE
It is important to note that Pakistan will be the third country — other than India and Indonesia — to locally assemble Suzuki Fronx. The Fronx features a bold front grill, LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, and a sloping roofline, built on the lightweight Heartect platform.
The crossover is equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, heads-up display, and 360-view camera. The model is recognized for its safety features, including six airbags, Auto Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Stability Program.
