In Pokémon GO, the users must have either the legendary Sunne Pokemon Solgaleo or the legendary Moone Pokemon Lunala. To obtain Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma, one must fuse their Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala respectively.
The second pre-requisite is for fusion energy. There are two forms of fusion energy: solar and lunar. However, the in-person Pokémon GO 2024 Fest events in Sendai, Madrid, and New York City allow early access to Fusion Energy through Special Research objectives, Fusion Energy may also be obtained later by winning the Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma Raids.
In addition to Fusion Energy, the users will need some Necrozma and Cosmog Candy.
The requirement to fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo:
- 1,000 Solar Fusion Energy
- 30 Necrozma Candy
- 30 Cosmog Candy
The requirement to fuse Necrozma and Lunala:
- 1,000 Lunar Fusion Energy
- 30 Necrozma Candy
- 30 Cosmog Candy
There are some limits on Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma. Users can't exchange them with their Pokémon GO friends, send them to the Professor, or even bring them home.
However, the users can separate the Fused Necrozma forms at any time and without using any Fusion Energy or Candy. Those who fuse their Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala during the GO Fest 20204 will receive a Dusk Mane Necrozma with the Charged Attack Sunsteel Strike or a Dawn Wings Necrozma with the Charged Attack Moongeist Beam.
