Acer reveals new Swift Go laptops and Swift X 14 with AI at CES 2024

Acer unveiled its latest lineup of additions to the Swift series during CES 2024, showcasing cutting-edge technology and performance enhancements. These new introductions, the Swift Go series and the Acer Swift X 14, are poised to elevate user experiences across content creation, academic pursuits, productivity, and gaming.

The Swift Go laptops, recognised as Intel Evo platform devices, are offered in 14-inch and 16-inch models. Fuelled by Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc GPUs, these laptops deliver premium performance along with impressive battery life of up to 12.5 hours for the 14-inch variant and up to 10.5 hours for the 16-inch one.

Equipped with AI-supported capabilities such as Copilot in Windows, the Swift Go laptops aim to enrich user interactions for both work and leisure. Moreover, these laptops feature top-notch OLED displays and boast internet connection speeds that are up to 2.4 times faster through Intel Wi-Fi 7.

Both Swift Go models support up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory and offer expandable storage of up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD with dual slots. Providing diverse connectivity options like Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and Bluetooth LE Audio, the Swift Go devices maintain the signature slim and lightweight aluminum chassis with a 180-degree hinge for easy collaboration.

Designed for creators and students, the Acer Swift X 14 integrates the latest Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPUs. Featuring a Calman-verified 2.8K OLED display with exceptional color accuracy and a 120 Hz refresh rate, the laptop incorporates NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technology for enhanced graphics.

The Swift X 14 also incorporates AI-enabled features such as Temporal Noise Reduction in the webcam for seamless video conferencing. Advanced thermal technologies have been integrated to ensure sustained high performance.

In terms of availability, the Acer Swift Go 16 and 14 models are set to hit the North American market in March, starting at USD 799.99 and USD 749.99, respectively. Meanwhile, the Swift X 14 will be available in North America in February, with a starting price of USD 1,399.99.
