Just as it has made its way into every walk of life and every technological industry, artificial intelligence (AI) is about to simplify editing on Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro in the form of AI agents.

Once incorporated into the globally acclaimed photo and video editing tools, these AI agents will not entirely replace the craftsmanship of the skilful editing process but rather suggest and perform contextual editing.

Adobe's AI agents for Photoshop and Premiere Pro are designed to help both amateur editors and the highly skilled professionals who have honed their editing skills with years of practice, ProPakistani reported, citing Adobe's designated blog post.

It was learned that in Adobe Photoshop, the “creative agent” will be available from a new floating Actions panel. It will analyse the given image and suggest contextual, thoughtfully crafted edits.

For instance, Adobe Photoshop's AI agent could recommend removing people from the image's background or blurring the surroundings of the subject to produce more detailed and focused outcomes. If deemed appropriate, users can have the suggestion implemented by simply clicking on it.

Similarly, Adobe Premiere Pro's AI agents will be an updated version of its recently released Media Intelligence feature, a tool developed to evaluate videos for objects and composition.

The overhaul of Adobe Premiere Pro's Media Intelligence feature will help in composing rough video cuts from informed guesses prompted by the given input. The AI feature will also assist editors in fine-tuning shot choices, adjusting colours, mixing audio, and much more.
