Android Auto is widely regarded for safe driving that assists you in connecting your battery with your car’s infotainment display, where your Android apps would be displayed on your car’s screen.

Get your driving directions, send a text, attend a call, and perform different activities, hand-free. It is specially designed that help you to focus on the road.

However, it consists of a few incredible features that vary from each country. But still, it has a few missing features in the USA that we have discussed below:

Introduce Google Meet

Android Auto and Google Meet, both of them are developed by Google. But, still Android Auto lacks call support from Google Meet. But surprisingly, it does support calls from third-party apps including Zoom, Webex, and Cisco.

The reason it seems like Google is not interested in investing in Google Meet is that it might be worried about abandoning Meet similar to Duo. But, if it’s not the reason that Google needs to introduce Meet in Android Auto.

Hands-free dismissal of alerts

Android Auto constantly alerts you regarding speed traps, constructions, and more. A notification pops up on your display screen for a limited period, Android Auto should introduce a feature that allows you a hands-free dismissal of alerts.

It makes it safer by mitigating the need to touch your car’s infotainment display.

Hazard alert creation in Maps

This has been lacking a crucial feature that would have allowed users to exchange event reports within Google Maps. Although this feature is supported by the Google product Waze, it has not been included in the Android Auto Map interface.

Previously, users used to have to use their phones to send incident reports, which distracted them, raising accidental risks. Recently, this feature has been rolled out in India, while USA users are still anticipating it.
