WhatsApp has recently rolled out a new feature for iOS users that allows them to link their email addresses to their accounts. This feature is currently in beta testing and will soon be available to all users. The feature is aimed at making it easier for users to log in to their accounts, even when they can't receive an authentication code via SMS.

The new feature is part of a series of updates that WhatsApp has been working on to improve the user experience.

Connect email with WhatsApp

To include your email address in your account, ensure you have the latest WhatsApp version installed from the App Store on your iPhone. After updating to WhatsApp for iOS 2.23.24.70, go to the settings menu, select Account, and tap the Email address to add your email.

The company is also testing a new feature that will allow users to pin chats to the top of a group chat for up to 30 days. This feature is currently available to users who are on the latest beta version of the app.

In addition to these features, WhatsApp is also working on a new username picker for the app. This feature will allow users to select a username that will be displayed in group chats. The feature is currently in development and is expected to be released soon.

Another feature that WhatsApp is working on is the ability to protect a user’s privacy while making calls to another user. This feature will relay calls via the company’s server, which will help to protect the user’s IP address. However, enabling this feature could slightly degrade the quality of voice calls.
