While the primary focus throughout Apple's Awe Dropping event remained on the iPhone 17 series, Apple's thinnest iPhone, called the iPhone Air, also stepped into the limelight as a one-of-a-kind.

The AirPods Pro 3 stood out to be the first to launch at Apple's Awe Dropping event.
The AirPods Pro 3 were showcased with phenomenal advanced computational audio and an impressive enhancement in Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), now twice as effective as AirPods 2.
That said, users could immerse themselves in sound without distractions from the outside world.
A standout feature was the innovative live translation capability. With simple gestures, the AirPods could translate entire phrases in multiple languages, thanks to seamless integration with Apple Intelligence suite on iPhones.
iPhone 17 features
The iPhone 17 has finally arrived, at Apple's exciting September event, this new phone runs on the latest iOS 26 update and a host of features that prolific tipsters kept leaking besides some design updates.
Other improvement areas on the latest iPhone 17 are Apple Intelligence, which is Apple's direct competitor for Google’s Gemini AI.
The iPhone 17 features updated Ceramic Shield, which offers 3x scratch resistance, and Apple has worked to cut down on the glare of its display.

On the other hand, the selfie camera is upgraded, as it is now called a “Centre Stage” camera, and it has a wider field of view. A square sensor allows for different compositions, so you don't have to rotate your iPhone to take a landscape selfie.
According to the company, the iPhone 17 can deliver up to eight hours more battery life compared to the iPhone 16. A 10-minute charge can provide up to eight hours of usage.
