The Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has announced the expansion of the province's fleet of electric buses as well as the introduction of electric bikes for working women on convenient instalment plans.

By encouraging their financial independence and resolving their transportation issues, this program seeks to empower women.

At the Chief Minister's Secretariat, Bugti presided over a high-level meeting and declared, "We want women to be self-reliant and actively contribute to social and economic sectors."

Working women will be able to purchase bikes through easy payment methods thanks to the electric bike program, which will lessen their dependency on risky or inconsistent transportation.

The government has also completed the Green Bus program's purchase of new buses, which should reach Karachi Port by the middle of October.

In order to provide safe and reasonably priced transportation, the buses will be placed in Balochistan's main cities, and a Pink Bus Service will be established specifically for female passengers.

Both projects are "key steps in improving urban mobility and addressing citizens' daily hardships," according to Bugti, who instructed authorities to make sure they are finished by October.

In addition to providing commuters throughout Balochistan with safer and more inclusive options, these initiatives represent a significant step towards environmentally friendly transportation.

The government hopes to enhance citizens' quality of life and help create a more sustainable environment by encouraging electric cars and increasing public transport.
