In an overwhelming move in the realm of digital payments, Bank Alfalah, one of Pakistan's largest commercial banks, has launched an innovative digital dining payment solution called Eatsy, aiming to transform the restaurant experience for both consumers and merchants.
Amid the widespread acceptance of cash payment across Pakistan's massive restaurant base, this has come to be a first-of-its-kind platform which has integrated banking technology with everyday dining. Eatsy also allows customers to reserve tables, order meals, and make payments in a secure and paperless manner.
The bank-led dining platform ensures operational efficiency for restaurant partners while providing a user-friendly experience for diners and digitising the entire dine-in journey. No matter if it's about real-time ordering or cashless payments, Eatsy makes dining smarter, according to ProPakistani.
11 top-tier restaurants, including Premo by Xanders and The Patio, are said to have already joined the Eatsy network, with many more lined up as part of Eatsy's expansion in further.
Bank Alfalah Chief Digital Officer Yahya Khan stated: “Eatsy is a significant advancement in our journey of embedded banking." "By combining the convenience of mobile payments with the everyday dining experience, we are enabling a cashless ecosystem that benefits both our customers and restaurant partners,” he added.
For frequent diners, Eatsy offers a personalised experience through an intuitive interface, which allows users to browse menus, reserve tables, and track meal progress in real time. Its payment system accepts all major debit and credit cards, including a prepaid card option from Bank Alfalah.
The marvellous application marks a significant step towards a cashless dining ecosystem in Pakistan, aiming to convert traditional cash customers into digital payment users.
