With investors in cryptocurrency always on the lookout for new and lucrative opportunities, Ark Invest, an investment firm based in Florida, has predicted that the Bitcoin price will touch the $2.4 million mark per coin in 2030.

Massively raising the projection of Bitcoin price for future, the prediction was brought to light in a report published on Thursday by the US-based investment firm, according to ProPakistani.

The report highlighted that approximately 40% of Bitcoin’s active supply is taken out of circulation, whether through lost private keys or long-term holding. Adding the remaining inactive supply into the report's calculations has lifted Ark’s price projections by 40% compared to its earlier estimates.

Even if the world's biggest cryptocurrency progresses with a bearish trend, it will skyrocket to $500,000, Ark's report outlined about Bitcoin.

Behind its propulsion to the imaginary point, major factors cited in the report include Bitcoin’s growing reputation as “digital gold,” and continuously rising demand among investors seeking a stable store of value.

Bitcoin's jaw-dropping rise, in the long run, has also been foreseen by some other bellwethers in the booming crypto space. MicroStrategy Chairman Michael Saylor earlier suggested that Bitcoin could reach $13 million over the next twenty years, whereas Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong projected Bitcoin rising millions-fold.
