Amazon, a multinational technology company, has rolled out a new feature that uses Maestro — an artificial intelligence technology that uses AI to build a playlist for use, just like Spotify.
Maestro will only be available on the Amazon Music app; the subscribers will be the only ones to whom this feature will be accessible. The AI-generated playlist tool will allow listeners to effortlessly design their playlist using simple prompts, emojis or sound. To enhance a more user-friendly experience a user can save and share the playlist for later listening.
This feature is introduced in beta version to a limited number of Amazon Music subscribers in the United States for free on both IOS and Android users. The upgrade is very similar to Spotify’s AI playlist, which was launched this month for its premium users.
The company has launched this feature ensuring that the technology has implemented systems that strictly block offensive and inappropriate language prompts. Before expanding this newly launched feature Amazon will gather feedback from the users.
Amazon is using more AI technology to update most of its services. The company launched earlier a chatbot known as Rufus for its retail customers in addition to Maestro.
You can now also use Maestro to create a playlist on Amazon Music by following these simple steps:
- First, download the latest version of Amazon Music on your IOS or Android device to use the feature.
- If you are an Amazon subscriber, the feature will appear on the top of the home screen or by tapping the “+” symbol that appears when creating a playlist.
- Tell Maestro by using a prompt, emoji or sound to create an idea for the playlist and lastly click the “Let’s go!” button to start playing the music.
