
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been unveiled as the latest instalment in the first-person shooter franchise. The shooter's features will be completely disclosed immediately following the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, 2024, beginning at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST.
Xbox Wire reported that this edition returns to the numbered pattern for a clandestine operations-focused perspective. Following the news, a YouTube announcement video appeared, with the words "The Truth Lies" written on the eyes of the famed Mount Rushmore.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the developers featured a mysterious Cerberus-style head above a black dollar note. Call of Duty has informed fans that "A dark new chapter of the Black Ops franchise begins."
There was widespread conjecture regarding a Gulf War-themed spin on the Black Ops franchise, with a November release date expected. The post-Xbox Games Showcase event will very certainly confirm our expectations that this title will be released in late autumn, but the topic may alter significantly.

Until the Xbox Showcase event, cryptic messaging and rumours will circulate regarding the theme and the era in which this Call of Duty game will be set.
