CES 2026: How to watch and what to expect

As 2026 kicked off, the biggest tech show, CES 2026, of the year just a few hours away from taking the world by surprise with some of the industry’s top players which will show up to Las Vegas for CES 2026.

Samsung is slated to take the stage to set the agenda for the new year and share an overview of its latest and greatest advances. Over the past few weeks, Samsung has been dropping press releases left and right, so there's a hype of what to expect in Vegas this year.

How to watch CES 2026?

The event will stream live from the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, Monday, January 5 at 10PM ET (7PM PT) until Thursday, January 8 at 4:40pm PT. This will coincide with announcements from major brands like LG, Qualcomm, Hisense, AMD, and Nvidia.

What to expect from CES 2026?

Laptops

People have high hopes from CES 2026, as it is set to bring new laptops featuring three new chips: Intel’s Panther Lake, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2, and AMD’s rumoured 'Gorgon Point' processors. 

Intel and Qualcomm are hyping up the efficiency of their new chips while simultaneously emphasizing graphics power — which always sounds too good to be true and often is.

Top-of-the-line laptop manufacturers are expected to showcase both existing designs and new offerings in consumer and business laptops, all equipped with the most advanced, cutting-edge chips. 

Desktops and PC components

This year, AMD and Intel are expected to update their processor lines, such as the introduction of an ,Arrow Lake Refresh', which would offer slight performance enhancements without introducing completely new architectures.

Gaming

CES 2026 event will also be beneficial for gamers, as Lenovo is likely to launch gaming laptop and a SteamOS version of the existing Legion Go 2 handheld. Lego is going to be at CES for the first time in years. 

TVs

Samsung and LG has announced their plans to launch smaller sizes of TVs, with Samsung offering its 2026 Micro RGB LED TVs with panels ranging from 55 to 100 inches, and LG debuting its first Micro RGB evo TVs in three sizes of 75, 86, and 100 inches.

The technological advancements made to RGB LED over the past year, and the promise of competition, is sure to bring prices closer to a more manageable range.

With CES 2025 few hours away, the high hopes among people are increasing as the fusion of AI, enhanced processing power, and immersive display technologies promises to transform consumer electronics.
