December will be a month of multiple car launches, and reveals are just around the corner. Several leading automobile manufacturers, including Kia, Skoda, Toyota, and Honda, have already announced their latest offerings to the market.

Despite the confirmed launches, there could be several surprises and additional releases before Christmas and New Year.

Gadinsider has compiled a list of all the upcoming car launches and reveals for December 2024.

New-gen Honda Amaze

Honda is set to unveil the new-generation Amaze in India on December 4. The company has already teased the official design of the forthcoming model, which boasts powerful features, a fresh design, and a revamped interior.

The 1.2-litre engine is expected to carry over from the previous model, producing 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission options.

Toyota Camry

The latest generation Toyota Camry is all set to be unveiled in India on December 11, integrated with cutting-edge technology, a revamped interior, eye-catching colours, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with a range of standard functions.

The significant features of the new Camry include a 12.3-inch display (comprising both the driver’s display and infotainment system), ventilated/heated front seats, and more, ensuring an exceptional riding experience.

The international variant of the latest Camry is equipped with an updated 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine coupled with Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system, offering a blend of power and efficiency.

Kia Syros

Kia India is set to launch its latest SUV, the Syros, on December 19. The company has already provided a glimpse of the highly anticipated model, showcasing its sleek exterior. The Syros will be equipped with premium features, making it a step up from the Sonet, including a panoramic sunroof.

The Syros will feature the latest design language, aligned with Kia’s electric vehicles (EVs), such as the EV3, EV6, and EV9. The SUV will boast vertically stacked LED headlamps, while the rear will feature L-shaped tail lamps placed near the rear window.

The Kia Syros is expected to offer two engine options:

    • 1-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine (120 PS/172 Nm)
    • 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine (116 PS/250 Nm)

    Expected price: Rs8.50-9.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
